Preparation of General Planning Scheme for Kigoma/Ujiji Municipality as an instrument to guide development of the Municipality and control its growth, coordinating spatial development and absorption of the growing population resulted from both rural-urban migration and natural increase.

Detailed Description of actual services provided by our staff:

1. Review existing land uses, revalidate with the use of satellite imagery, in order to identity key land development issues, potentials and constraints
2. Review sector development schemes and their future plans, assess social and physical infrastructure facilities’ need for the planning period.
3. Formulate a meaningful spatial development plan (master plan) which will foster, regulate, guide and coordinate the orderly urban development of Kigoma/Ujiji Municipality for the envisaged period of 20 years
